Whelk coppers tearoom is a family run business of 30 years on the beach front in a seaside town in Sheringham. The building itself is panelled Indian teak originated from a Royal Navy frigate in Calcutta and our gates are designed by Walt Disney.
We offer a varied selection of cakes and treats which cover all types of allergies as well as our main food menu which offer alternatives if needed. We cater for Vegetarians, Vegan, Gluten free and dairy free intolerances which is hard to come by. If you want to enjoy some delicious food in the sun with great atmosphere this is the place to be!
For the dogs – We have free dog treats in our porch as well as water bowls and we also sell Pooch’s branded dog biscuits.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

6 months agoDiscovered this lovely place today whilst looking for somewhere for breakfast on a day trip to Sheringham. One place we considered was shut so we carried on walking and after a quick Google Whelks came up. We sat outside and it has a stunning sea view. Staff polite and friendly, coffee that is tasty and drinkable and a lovely breakfast. Would recommend and return

4 months agoHad a fantastic breakfast sitting outside overlooking the sea. Quick and friendly service with a good range of food to choose from. There are seats inside too in case the weather isn't that good. Food was very fresh and full of flavour

2 weeks agoA lovely welcome to a place we looked forward to returning to. Cozy and delicious are the words best describing our visit. There is a view of the sea inside and out and on a very cold January day we didn't want to leave.
