Dined here twice before, so wouldn’t return if it hadn’t been good then. Just felt another level for the better. Great menu and charming service both in bar and at table. Dogs welcome in specific areas, ample parking (although we walked as staying locally) and great garden including children play equipment. Love the decor and good value. Recommended and will return!

Stayed here with friends last year and came again this year. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Food is excellent - pork belly, steak, sea bass all got rave reviews from us. All the staff are friendly and efficient. (Shout out for Gracie at breakfast). A short walk to the beach at Overstrand and within easy reach of the beautiful North Norfolk coast and to see the seals at Horsey Gap. Will definitely be back.

Our stay was amazing. Beautiful dog friendly hidden gem. The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had an evening meal, which was excellent. The breakfast was fabulous, a lot of choice inc a big breakfast. The room was beautiful. Nice big bed. The attention to detail & comfort was exceptional (in room extra blankets, hair dryer, hot chocolate, fruit teas (as well at regular tea & coffee), biscuits & toiletries Our two dogs were very settled (sometimes staying in a pub can be quite noisy). We liked it so much we are looking at booking again, very soon.

My partner and I have been here before just for a lunchtime sandwich and it was excellent. This time we decided to have fish ( two different courses, crab fish cake and sea bass) and it was excellent again!, and a barman who knows how to pour a pint of Guinness, finishing off with a delicious Irish coffee. The staff were all polite and friendly and the meal and drinks were faultless , nice pleasant atmosphere 5 star plus!

Our stay was only overnight , but we have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Our room was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. We had our evening meal there too which was delicious. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with great choices. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. We will be back again soon. Thank you.
