The White Horse at Overstrand has had a really nice renovation recently, featuring a nice, modern and contemporary feel. Dogs are allowed in the bar area, the conservatory and the outdoor spaces but not the main restaurant so be aware when booking to have a meal.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

a week agoHaving recently visited White Horse while on a family holiday, I can say I'm impressed. The venue is newly refurbished and recently opened, but you'd think this was a long established place. The decor is stunning, with the added benefit of the outside seating area. The full team of staff are friendly and attentive but not overpowering... a great combo. As for the food, it's simply delicious. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend. On a side note... I don't drink alcohol but seeing some of the cocktails coming out.. I was almost tempted to reconsider my life choices. 🤣

2 weeks agoFrom the moment you arrive, you're welcomed by a stunning entrance that sets the tone for an exceptional experience. As you step inside, the warm and friendly staff greet you with genuine smiles, promptly guiding you to a comfortable seat and taking your food and drink orders with effortless efficiency. The food is nothing short of outstanding, and the service is consistently amazing. This place has quickly become a favorite of mine, and I will definitely be returning regularly, making it one of my go-to spots each week or month.

2 weeks agoWe’re local and have been excited to try the White Horse since the renovations started. We were definitely not disappointed!! The overall experience is just wonderful, the staff were smartly dressed, attentive, friendly and a pleasure to chat to. The beer was superb and there’s a really lovely selection, we saw some delicious looking cocktails going out too. We ordered food and our dietary requests were met without hesitation. I had the signature burger (no cheese) and a side of the most amazing marinated tomatoes. The burger is the best I’ve eaten in the whole of North Norfolk (and I’ve tried a LOT 😂) the chefs own burger sauce was outstanding, so fresh and delicious. We’re so pleased to have this total gem on our (almost) doorstep and we can’t wait to return!

a week agoWhat an amazing, cozy and friendly location to have your lunch and dinner! Where should I start? The staff’s professionalism and friendliness is unparalleled! Hands down one of the best service I have had in a while! The quality of the food is amazing and delicious, the drinks are top notch as well! Everything is spot on, would greatly recommend visiting!

a week agoPopped in for Sunday lunch with the family and I was absolutely blown away by the exquisite decor. What an amazing place!!! Lunch was amazing, beautifully cooked and perfect portion sizes, the staff were very attentive and looked very professional in their uniforms. Can’t wait to go back to try the cocktails!!
