The White Horse Inn is gloriously situated on the marshland coastline of North Norfolk at Brancaster Staithe, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with its big blue skies, spectacular sunsets and salty sea air. The coastline is a magical area to explore with breath-taking panoramic views across tidal marshes and endless sandy beaches.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

a week agoThis place has got so much right you want to ring the style council and start clapping. Just incredible service. They’ve been trained to smile with authenticity and think about the customer. The food is upper quartile across every course but in incredible and relaxing surroundings. A treat for every and any occasion. Hats off all round. You don’t get too many of these in a lifetime. Enjoy it.

3 weeks agoWe have not stayed in there rooms so can't comment on them though judging by the style and decorative standard of the pup and restaurant I would imagine they are excellent. The service in the restaurant was excellent, unfortunately the food was at best average my partner selected smoked salmon to start which she felt was overly smoked and salty she followed this with cod and chips which she said was good with a nice light batter. I chose sea food chowder to start which tasted rather more like tomato soup, very little seafood taste. I then had Hake to follow which sadly was rather bland. We are both 3 course people but chose not to have a dessert.

a week agoI didn't visit the pub, I visited the smokehouse shack at the back of the pub to purchase some of the most perfect smoked salmon I have ever eaten. I also bought some fantastic smoked salmon mousse. Not the cheapest I've ever had but every mouthful was delicious and well worth every penny.

3 months agoI recently hosted a baby shower event at the White Horse and it was incredible! Rob, the manager, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that our guests had a high end afternoon tea experience to be remembered. The table was filled with beautiful sandwiches, pastries, scones, tea, and champagne. Our guests are still talking about how polished and beautiful the presentation and service was during our shower. I could not be more thankful to Rob and his team for their assistance in creating these memories with my English family in the UK as an American living in the US. I didn’t think I could plan and host an event long distance but this team made it easy. I highly recommend the White Horse to anyone who is looking for a classy experience that is sure to wow their party and guests.
