This cosy and ornate Victorian pub serves real ales and has an upstairs grill restaurant and garden.
Dogs are welcome and we’ve often been seated and the staff have brought along a fresh water bowl for the dog.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

2 months agoVery generous portions, without being silly. Very well cooked meals with carefully chosen high quality ingredients. Thank goodness for puns like the Unthank Arms.

a month agoThe roast dinner was fantastic! The only thing that let it down was the chicken, it was tasteless, no seasoning or herbs on it which was disappointing! But apart from that it was fantastic, the people who had the beef said it was fantastic! Good portion sizes too! Went again and had the pork and it was delightful!! Really good roast!

4 months agoI had the fish in green curry and it was fine, but not great. Other food was ok too - apparently the chicken burger was a bit dry but the loaded fries with steak were good. Staff were super helpful however.

3 months agoLovely place. Best Roast around. Great staff accommodated our large group and children very well. Our first time visiting but will definitely be back! I look forward to trying the burger!

5 months agoWe had our wedding at the unthank yesterday and I can honestly say there was nothing that we would change. The service was impeccable nothing was to much trouble. Everyone had an amazing time and commented on how delicious the food was. If I could give 10 stars I would especially to Ben who was so responsive, helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our day so perfect.
