Dogs are welcome and we’ve often been seated and the staff have brought along a fresh water bowl for the dog.

4 months agoTreated some people to Xmas lunch and the team pulled off lunch for 8 in a good fashion. The pub was decorated all festive, the team kept us loaded with drinks and the food all came out together and tasted amazing. Really happy with everything and it was amazing!

a month agoAlways a solid choice - but they've definitely upped their game food-wise over the past two years. Fantastic food - great roasts. Lots of space in winter or summer. Lovely beer garden. Great selection of drinks - wide for all tastes. Relaxed atmosphere, great staff, just a great pub!

10 months agoWe held our wedding reception upstairs in the Unthank Arms and we had such an amazing time. Ben and his team were so friendly and went out of their way to help us. They were quick to respond to emails when we were planning and made the whole process feel very easy. We felt like we were in very capable hands and it really showed on the day. Our guests loved the food which came out on time without a hitch, the bar staff were lovely and everything just ran so smoothly from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they were really relaxed about us putting up decorations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Unthank Arms for any event, they were brilliant. Thank you!

a month agoLunch with friends. Service and staff attitude excellent. Food well cooked and presented, but a restricted menu, which normally leads to lower prices. Here I found the prices as high as other venues with much more extensive menus. That said, it was a pleasant experience, and I would return.

7 months agoWe couldn't have asked for more! From start to finish Kate and her wonderful team organised our wedding after party with care, kindness and professionalism. We must have had almost 200 guests turn up and the staff managed every aspect without a hitch. The food was delicious and my dustbin bag full of balloons and decorations was skillfully and artfully transformed into a fabulous backdrop for our celebration. It was certainly the perfect choice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the pub and the team for any celebration you are planning. All at a great price!! Thank you so much team Unthank!
