The Three Horseshoes is a luxury country pub tucked away just outside of Holt. We’re the perfect destination for a day out with your four legged friend. Our kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there’s a beautiful 2.5 mile dog walk across footpaths and farm tracks that starts minutes from our front door.
Our Head Chef, Jake Garwood, appeared on the BBC series The Hairy Bikers Go Local and impressed hosts Dave Myers and Si King by using Norfolk produce to conjure up a char siu lamb with hedgerow ketchup along with a scone topped with fresh fruit and micro basil.
Jake has created a new menu at The Three Horseshoes with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. The menu, which will change regularly, blends British pub classics like Ale-battered fish and chips with fine dining dishes such as pan-seared pigeon.

2 weeks agoWe recently visited the Three Horseshoes and had a fantastic experience. The selection of ales was impressive. We ordered the beef burger, and it was absolutely marvellous - juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had mistakenly made the booking for the wrong time, and the kitchen had closed by the time we arrived. However, they kindly reopened it and served us anyway. Thank you to the team for their hospitality and flexibility! Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great selection of ales and delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere.

a month agoWow, The Three Horseshoes delivers an exceptional dining experience paired with top-tier accommodation that truly rivals Michelin-star quality. Every dish was a masterpiece—bursting with flavour and impeccably presented. The rooms were equally impressive, blending comfort with style, and every detail thoughtfully crafted. This place feels like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended! Nicole

a month agoI'm not sure what's going on here, but the food just keeps getting better and better. Really good cooking, sensible portion sizes and a great range of local beers (Wildcraft, Moon Gazer, etc.). All served by friendly and upbeat staff. The bar area lacks a bit of character, and the wine list could be more interesting, but these are minor and subjective points. The restaurant is comfortable and there's a beautiful garden to enjoy in the summer. We love it!

a month agoWe have just had the most delicious lunch. The sirloin & chicken were fantastic & the vegetables very tasty. We also enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding which was light. Also all the staff were very attentive & kind & gave excellent service . It was a particularly kind gesture to provide a celebratory plate for the birthday "boy" & "girl".
