2 months agoIt's becoming a regular for me as the vibes from the whole environment is grand. I also went to their Burns Night and gauged heavily on a number of dishes (the photos). The outside is blessed with that Vitamin D lump of a sun which is perfect for the summer times. Granted it's by a busy road that can have boy racers on a Sunday in particular but it doesn't really impact the experience for myself. Jamie approved 👌🏻

a month agoLovely cosy pub, staff is really friendly and food is super tasty! It is now a tradition to go every Friday for the steak and fries night! I wish the serving was a bit bigger, maybe more chips? Highly recommend it!

a week agoBy far one of the best meals and evening dining experiences I’ve had in Norwich. Straight forward, polite, efficient and exceptionally hospitable service. Each element of the restaurant from the plates themselves to the seasonal menu is carefully considered and executed. Beer and wine as well as digestifs are all of the finest quality, and served with the utmost consideration. I honestly cannot fault it and would most definitely recommend this to all family and friends. Their thoughtfulness for those with dietary needs on the night were well considered and catered for. Who would have thought 10 years ago the back of Anglia Studios would be the culinary highlight of Norwich? Down there again for a few more jars of ale and pie no doubt!

2 weeks agoWhat an absolutely fabulous gem of a place! The food was delicious and imaginative and the atmosphere was magical. The crockery and glasses were spot on and the lighting and 70s music really added to the ambiance. They made the best Campari and soda. Big thanks to daughter for booking.

a year agoWe visited this lovely pub on our recent trip to Norwich and had a lovely evening. Great beers on tap and in cans, and an interesting wine selection. We ate bar snacks and they really were excellent, very well rounded and full of flavour. Pork croquettes were sublime and the bread selection was excellent. A lovely scoop of ice cream finished off the evening very nicely. Being dog friendly is a huge win too
