My wife and I ate dinner here twice in three days while staying locally. It was amazing to be able to walk to a pub and enjoy good food. All the staff were absolutely lovely, one of the friendliest pubs I've been to in ages. Service was also efficient and helpful. Portions were very generous, reminding me of country pubs further north! I would have been happy with smaller portions and a bit more attention to presentation. The chips (gorgeous) with my homemade burger could have fed three people. The seafood chowder was the best dish we had, and again generous portions, we were glad that we asked to share one between us. The wine list was limited, but not unusual for pubs. We sat in the dog-free section on the first evening, and with the dogs on the second, having forgotten that it was a segregated pub. Our fault for not checking. The pub is right on the main coast road, but not at all noisy while we were there. Would definitely return.

We had a fabulous stay at The Ship earlier this week. The room was a good size and immaculate, with great attention to detail. The food and drink were equally impressive, delicious, a wide choice, and generous portions. The full English was one of the best I've ever had. The staff were very welcoming, making us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and giving us lots of helpful information about the local area. We will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Had fantastic Sunday lunch. Nut roast was delish. Often they can be dry but this one was perfect. Loads of veggies all well cooked . Would have loved a pud but could not fit it in! Good value for money as all food locally sourced and well presented . Just a nice relaxing pub with friendly staff and great beer. Highly recommended.

Not Ideal for Wheelchair users which is a Shame because it look a quaint little place to eat. Ramped access into building but as we parked up we couldn't get my Lad out of the car because of the Deep quicksand like gravel driveway/car park. At the end of the car park was a what looked like a beautiful Garden/Seating area but unfortunately a High Step to entre. I'm sure the food would have been nice though

I’ve been here about 4 times in the last year and every time I’ve had great food and really good service. The menu is adventurous but familiar and everything is really well priced. Great selection of drinks too. The staff are fantastic and food and drinks are always served quickly. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Norfolk.
