The Reindeer is a city centre music pub with a large sun-trap beer garden. We welcome friendly dogs on leads in all areas of the pub.
We are a lively, busy venue, so although we welcome dogs at all times, we think it’s best not to bring the to the main bar area while we have live music – but our garden is always open. We usually have live music, Fridays & Saturday evenings, as well as more chilled sets on Sunday afternoons- full gig listings can be found on our social media pages.
We serve food Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday 5pm-8.30pm, courtesy of Who Kitchen- no table booking required. Sunday roasts are available 12pm-5pm, courtesy of Too Fat Roasties. Advance booking is essential.
Wheelchair accessibility: Please notify the staff and we can open the accessible entry.

11 months agoThe very best pub in town. Friendly staff who always greet you with a warm welcome and a fab pint. Loads of great beers, my partner loves ale and really appreciates the selection and the care with which the beer is looked after. There are delicious food options all week and the Sunday roast is legendary. Live bands and a friendly crowd make this the music venue the place to go for your nights out in Norwich. The management of this gem of a pub is first class.

4 months agoDelicious Sunday roast with very tender chicken and lots of fresh veg. Really friendly staff and a lovely fun vibe amongst the mixed-age crowd who came to see the rockabilly band. I haven’t had a better time in a pub for years!

a year agoNicely kept garden and helpful staff. Would prefer the real ale selection to be written down either on paper or on a board, I think something was lost when staff tried to remember it. Ales were well kept though and the pub environment was clean. Didn't try food on this occasion, but the food menu looks good.

5 months agoLove the Reindeer! Usually we visit when my husbands' band Cherry Bomb are playing and these nights are always fab. Today we visited to sample the Too Fat Roasties and omg the best pub roast I've ever had! Fantastic welcoming, friendly staff and a great atmosphere day or night. Highly recommended!

5 months agoUnderstaffed, but by very nice people. We had a booking and had to walk out after an hour. The management need to seriously rethink the way they're running this place on a Sunday. Staff are getting stuck on the bar and are unable to attend the tables properly. They are all really polite and professional. They need at least twice the number of people working. If they're struggling to hire, they should post it on Indeed or Reed. They could follow those roles in days. We came in and waited an hour to be sat down and given menus, then we left because we had no indication that we were going to be served. I felt bad for the staff, who seemed like they were working flat out and still having too many customers to deal with.
