The Reindeer is a city centre music pub with a large sun-trap beer garden. We welcome friendly dogs on leads in all areas of the pub.
We are a lively, busy venue, so although we welcome dogs at all times, we think it’s best not to bring the to the main bar area while we have live music – but our garden is always open. We usually have live music, Fridays & Saturday evenings, as well as more chilled sets on Sunday afternoons- full gig listings can be found on our social media pages.
We serve food Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday 5pm-8.30pm, courtesy of Who Kitchen- no table booking required. Sunday roasts are available 12pm-5pm, courtesy of Too Fat Roasties. Advance booking is essential.
Wheelchair accessibility: Please notify the staff and we can open the accessible entry.

a month agoCan’t comment on the food but what a great pub with live music and a lovely beer garden out back. Fantastic night with friends and the band Red Leaf giving a great performance.

a year agoThis Pub has been a staple of the live music scene in Norwich for some time, presenting the best in grass routes music across the world. The staff are incredible, the drinks fairly priced, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The Pub Dog is the best too. Love this place, can’t recommend highly enough.

2 months agoCracking roast yesterday. Keep up the good work and people will come. Amazing value at £14. Had an extra cauliflower cheese. Perhaps could have had another ten mins in the oven but that's just nitpicking. Will be back for sure. One beef. One chicken. Awesome roasties and nice veg. Can't say any better than that. Good choice of beers. Had a 1664 blanc which I'm not sure I've seen before locally. Also lots of cask available. More people came in just as we were leaving and I'm sure the place will be buzzing as soon as people know it's still as good as before. Very good service too. Many thanks.

4 months agoNice on outskirts of the city. Good selection of beers, large seating areas throughout and a pool table. Watched a band play, good acoustics and plenty of space to watch from the tables. Only negative was the toilets they looked like public junky toilets. Graffiti everywhere. Would visit again if in area

3 years agoThe very best pub in town. Friendly staff who always greet you with a warm welcome and a fab pint. Loads of great beers, my partner loves ale and really appreciates the selection and the care with which the beer is looked after. There are delicious food options all week and the Sunday roast is legendary. Live bands and a friendly crowd make this the music venue the place to go for your nights out in Norwich. The management of this gem of a pub is first class.
