in the last weekWe went for Sunday lunch with a couple of friends who had been to Cromer a few times. They had made the booking and were already big fans of the hotel (they had also stayed there a few times and recommended the rooms). As for the meal, we had two Sunday lunches and two veggie Sunday lunches. I was told that the beef was fantastic and I can definitely recommended the nut roast. The puddings were also fantastic (sticky toffee) and I can recommend the cheese board). There was a good range of beers, wine and spirits. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very convivial. If you are looking for a great place to eat and drink in Cromer please make sure you try the Red Lion Hotel.

in the last weekHad Sunday lunch here 17th March. Restaurant and bar were full which was a good sign. Had no problem with providing me with a Gluten Free roast dinner, including Yorkshire pudding. The portions were generous. Waiting staff friendly and efficient. Will definitely go here again next time we're in the Cromer area

a week agoPopped into this pub while visiting Cromer and went back again the next day! Great view of the sea if you can get a window seat and good atmosphere. Dog and baby friendly, lots of lovely people to chat to, and delicious mango cider on tap!

3 weeks agoGreat hotel, bedroom, clean and well decorated and warm, bed comfortable. Warm wood pub bar, fresh delicious food in the restaurant, excellent service, good choice for breakfast, tea comes in teapots and fab selection of beers, ciders and spirits. Doggies welcome. Great view of the sea from the bar and restaurant. Very relaxed.

3 months agoStayed two nights, absolutely loved it. Room was big and spacious and really warm despite the dreadful weather outside. Lovely view of the beach from the window. Breakfast was excellent, served piping hot and delicious. And the bar in the evening was delightful, real fires, lots of different beers and great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
