3 weeks agoHad a long weekend at a cottage within walking distance from the pub. Popped in for a drink one night and then for Sunday lunch. The food from the carvery was amazing and the friendliness, efficiency and service from all the staff was out of this world. Thank you, if we didn't live 4 hours away we'd be regulars!

3 weeks agoFantastic meal out. We decided on a whim to visit here for a meal on Friday evening. They seated us without any issues, and we both had burgers, with me having a quad burger and dirty fries. The food was simply excellent. Beautifully cooked burgers. Also had my assistance dog with me, and it was no trouble for them to warm up some chicken we'd brought for her dinner. A most lovely place, warm welcoming staff, and brilliant service. Will definitely be coming back to here. For note, dogs are welcomed here, there's plenty of room if you're a mobility aid user, and easy access for wheelchairs.

2 weeks agoWe had a wonderful dinner here and loved it so much we came back the next night! It's dog friendly one side, and they have water bowls and dog biscuits available. Staff are very friendly, even when we turned up really late they were more than happy to serve us.

2 months agoGreat place and works really well as a pub/small hotel. Staff were all lovely especially the young man who served breakfast. He was delightful. Always had a smile and could not do enough to ensure we had a good meal. A credit to the establishment for sure! Well done all! If I were to criticise the menu was a bit too processed? I understand it was being changed though.

a week agoHad the best Sunday calvary ever! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who coped with allergies brilliantly. Roast potatoes cooked perfectly- what a treat. We'll be back.
