Dogs in Specific outside areas only: This is a great venue but dogs are only allowed in the two outdoor seating areas.
Get away from it all for a while, and unwind in a peaceful and tranquil setting surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Norfolk countryside.
The Painted Barn is set in a beautifully restored 16th century barn, with it’s original glorious beams. The adjacent studio benefits from views across the gentle rolling countryside.
We are earning a reputation for our food here at The Painted Barn. Our lunch dishes, prepared with the highest quality locally sourced produce, including from our own family farm, are interesting, delicious and, as we are always trying new ideas, so our menu changes continually.

4 months agoBeautiful place, incredible food/drink, and a lovely atmosphere! We stopped for coffee and a sausage roll - both were very nice. The little shop inside was also wonderful to look around! Worth the visit.

6 months agoLovely place with great ambiance, very bougie and nice things to buy too! Food was good quality and of decent price for what you get. Staff were friendly and attentive. Toilets were clean and spacious. Lots of seating options inside and out, with noticeably comfy chairs! Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible too.

3 weeks agoA new favourite locally.. we popped by for brunch and coffee on a rare day off during our maternity / paternity leave. The service was welcoming and flawless, the food was delicious and the surroundings were clean, attractive and revitalising. We will be back!

4 months agoA very pleasant interlude for delicious tea/coffee and cake. Lots of interesting gifts on sale too, although sadly nothing that quite ticked a box on my Christmas shopping list.

a year agoThis is the most wonderful experience for brunch or lunch. We called in whilst on holiday and it was so good we had to go again. Definitely try it. You will not be disappointed. Staff, owner, atmosphere, and food are first class.
