A very nice place in a very quiet location. The room wasn't quite as spacious as I was expecting for the cost, very clean though with a very big bathroom. We ate in the restaurant on the first of our two night stay, food was OK but not a huge menu, very limited on side dishes to accompany the main meal. Staff were very good. Breakfast was lovely, great quality full English. Location is great, nice quiet area to get away from a busy week, lovely walk to the beach which is superb when you get there.

Decided to come here for dinner, and the service and food was outstanding! The waiter recommended a wine that worked very well with my meal. And the meal itself was absolutely faultless. Everything was cooked to perfection. The prices might seem high, but when you eat their food and experience their service you can see where all that money goes. I will definitely be returning!

A bit pretentious. If you go here be ready to over pay for okay food. It’s tasty, but there is hardly any on your plate. If you order the prawn cocktail, it’s covered in sauce but you need to use hands to take tail etc off… making a messy eating experience. Drinks are expensive for what they are, food is expensive for what it is, service is friendly but they got a simple order wrong. It wouldn’t kill them to add more to their meals, it’s essentially just the mains with no sides.

Holy cow...the food was incredible. The starters were out of the world, roast dinners were really good as well. Definitely worth a visit. Try the German pilsner, a great crisp pint full of flavour but doesn't taste like a basket of flowers...highly recommend.

Beautiful location in a tranquil village, cottage was lovely and room nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with locally sourced produce and very flavourful. Service friendly and helpful. We would recommend and return.
