4 months agoWe stayed 2 nights for my wife’s birthday and overall it was a very nice relaxing stay. Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms comfortable, and I’ve only marked down a star because of the slightly limited menu - the food on offer was very good- which was the same for lunch and dinner. A few lunch options would’ve been appreciated as would 2-3 more options of both starter and main courses. A couple more slight negatives was that one of the toilet rolls in the room was half used and the shower head leaked badly from one end which should’ve been picked up. Overall a very good visit.

5 months agoVery friendly and helpful. Room was ground floor external to main building and a good size, bed large and comfortable. Didn't eat here except for breakfast which was very good. We met with friends in the bar before going out, the bar seemed a great place for drinkers, a really good atmosphere. Would stay here again and would definitely drink here again.

5 months agoWe stay here several times a year. The staff are always very pleasant and go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept and some are dog friendly but don’t smell of dog. Breakfast is a real treat and we have always enjoyed our dinners there. I have no hesitation in recommending The Swan.
