We allow dogs in all areas of the pub, although we do have restrictions in the dining room, please when booking let us know how many dogs are coming.
There is a very large dog friendly garden either on grass or slabs and we have a water station for dogs on the entrance to the garden.
Every dog has a little treat on us. In the summer months we offer Doggie Ice Cream and we are hoping also to get some doggie beer for sale too.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

2 weeks agoCan't praise this venue enough ! Food was exceptional - I had the lasagne followed by lemon meringue pie, so good we returned the next day ! Staff were welcoming, attentive and dog friendly ( they brought treats for our dog Paddy) this gastro pub was worth every penny.

a month agoHad a lovely meal here whilst on holiday. Food was excellent. Try the cheeseboard you won't be disappointed. Would recommend booking... Think it closes fairly early so bear that in mind too.

8 months agoOur twins and my husband chose this as the venue to bring me for Mother’s Day lunch and what a fabulous choice! Warmly welcomed, very busy but attentive service. Wide choice of drinks and a wonderful menu of delicious food. I started with a cosmopolitan cocktail as it was Mother’s Day after all :) all mums were given a little treat bag of chocolates and treats, beautifully wrapped, very thoughtful. Our starters included prawn and salmon cocktail, whitebait and chicken skewers. For mains I had my favourite Sunday meal … lamb shank which fell off the bone and was totally delicious accompanied by roasties and veg. Hubby went for beef & ale pie, our daughter a huge portion of amazing bbq ribs and she ended up taking 1/2 the portion home, our son had chicken stack…. All plates were cleared (except for 1/2 the ribs). We only ever eat two courses but the desserts were so inviting that even though we were pretty full from our first two courses we gave in, I shared a Malteser sundae with my hubby, our daughter had melting chocolate fudge cake (our son was too full to be tempted ☺️) All of the staff were friendly, engaging and nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful setting with a great atmosphere. We’ve been there previously in the summer where we ate in their lovely outdoor garden. Our family most certainly highly recommend this pub/restaurant. THANK YOU ☺️
