a year agoWe intended to stop for a pint on the way home but ended up staying for three. What a gem of a pub. The guy behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. Somehow I hadn't expected the inside to be quite so lovely (my last visit was 20 years ago to see Tony Hall). Lovely beer garden and interesting corners all over the pub, games, book exchange. We'll definately return.

2 months agoFriendly and knowledgeable staff, with a great atmosphere and a good selection. They even have Hawkstone on tap, which is fantastic.

6 months agoFriendly attentive staff. Limited selection of spirits. Larger selection of beers, but they seem quite expensive, as it's not in the city centre, which might give an excuse.

6 months agoAs soon as we entered we was instantly greeted by a very kind man, quiet pub not to loud and everyone's really friendly. Drinks are good and I'd definitely recommend
