The Freemasons Arms is in the heart of NR1. We’re home to a variety of unique and original ales and craft beers, and we like to keep it local when we can! Tasty loaded dogs (don’t panic – your pups are safe!) and fries, as well as a hearty lunch menu, are served daily and will be sure to tickle your taste buds.
With chilled vibes, monthly quiz nights and frequent live music, plus a large selection of board games, The Freemasons is the perfect spot, especially when you bring your pooches along!
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

10 months agoWe intended to stop for a pint on the way home but ended up staying for three. What a gem of a pub. The guy behind the bar was friendly and welcoming. Somehow I hadn't expected the inside to be quite so lovely (my last visit was 20 years ago to see Tony Hall). Lovely beer garden and interesting corners all over the pub, games, book exchange. We'll definately return.

2 months agoHad a lovely eve here. Myself and my pal Rick popped in for a beer and found out it was a quiz night. We only went and won the quiz!!!! Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and well kept beer. Look forward to re- visiting

a month agoVery poor all round, the "general manager" was absolutely useless, rude and unhelpful, absolutely dreadful experience

a year agoA very nice selection of drinks. Definitely a more “family friendly” feeling kind of pub, with plenty of nice decorations and a bright and breezy atmosphere. They have tvs and regularly play sports and also allow dogs. They have a great selection of food and snacks and on an afternoon it’s a nice place to sit and relax, they have a Fußball table and comfy cushioned seats. Not a traditional sticky table kind of pub, especially when compared to the Kings Arms which is directly opposite, but it’s nice in its own ways.
