Lush, we had a family get together, just drinks, and the atmosphere in here was brilliant. It was very busy, but the bar were quick, efficient, and really welcoming. Definitely book if you want a table. Will be back!

A public house adjacent to the sea. There is inside and outside dining. The prices are reasonable. The bar staff friendly and professional. I had lasagne which came with a couple of small slices of garlic bread and a leafy salad. The lasagne itself consisted of 2 pasta slices and mince, more slop than mince and it was topped by a gooey white sauce. It was served extremely hot as if it had been heated in a microwave at an extremely hot temperature. It arrived in a very short space of time considering that it was very busy outside.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Crown Cafe in Sheringham with a group of friends and professors, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the delicious food to the excellent service, our time at The Crown Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. Let's start with the star of the show: the food. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and each dish we ordered was not only visually appealing but also bursting with flavor. The chefs at The Crown Cafe have clearly mastered the art of creating delectable meals. Whether it was the perfectly cooked chicken or the flavorful mashy peas, every bite was a true delight for our taste buds. The quality of ingredients was evident, and the dishes were expertly prepared. We left the cafe with satisfied appetites and fond memories of the fantastic food we had. Equally impressive was the service we received. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the evening, they ensured that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The attentive yet unobtrusive service added a touch of elegance to the overall experience. The ambiance of The Crown Cafe was cozy and inviting. The tasteful decor, coupled with soft background music, created a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for our group. The seating arrangements allowed for comfortable conversations, and we appreciated the attention given to each table's privacy. The cafe had a warm and welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Lastly, I must mention the group aspect of our visit. The Crown Cafe proved to be an excellent choice for our gathering. The service was efficient, and the food was served promptly, allowing us to enjoy a seamless and enjoyable dining experience together.

Decent choice of real ales, sufficient staff on a busy sunday (NNR plus classic car show in town), food was delivered much quicker than expected. So thumbs up from me 👍

Nice visit to Sheringham for lunch today, whilst exploring different towns along the Norfolk Coast. As a family we chose to have our lunch at ‘The Crown’ and ate it whilst looking out at the North Sea. I had their ‘Smoky Joe Burger’. The slow-cooked beef in their smoky sweet BBQ sauce had a nice flavour to it which complimented the burger well. The fries that came with the meal, however, arrived warm. My Mother had their hand-battered cod which is one of their lunch bites, she too said that her fries arrived warm too. The batter covering the cod was quite stodgy but does reflect the price coming in at £8.99 for the dish. Cannot fault the staff however, they were very polite and accommodating when it come to adding a note on my fathers meal as he doesn’t like sauces in his burger. Would have liked it if there was a drinks menu though. Overall, in terms of value for money the food was what you could imagine for a town pub.
