Visiting last night with my parents and dog, we had a lovely meal. The pub is set in the middle of beautiful Trunch village, the staff were friendly and helpful, very polite and welcoming. The food is great value for money and arrived promptly it was fresh and well presented. We enjoyed our meals and we will deffinatly return.

A worthy sidetrip from any North Norfolk visit. Great little pub with top notch homemade sausage rolls, sunny outdoor seating. .

Booked in for lunch as it less busy and we had three dogs! We were offered a room to ourselves, very nice. Ordered steak and ale plus chicken and mushroom, both in rough puff pastry. Very nice quality pie and mash (you get a choice of mash) and a ton of peas! Slightly limited on some menu items due to a busy previous week. Shared a lovely chocolate brownie as I was stuffed! Good, friendly staff and locals.

The food was very good and value for money. The service was excellent. We had the giant Yorkshire today, I had beef with sweet potatoes and beetroot mash, my husband had pork belly with bacon and onion mash. It was all good but my husband said the pork belly was amazing. Would recommend and we will be going back in the week to try the pie and mash.
