A traditional village pub sitting at the heart of Trunch, with a warm friendly welcome & plenty of space around the log burner to put the world to rights. Serving great real ale and a pie & mash menu for the modern day served to eat in our takeaway. Whether you’re with us for a quick pint or here for a few, were open to all, always.

7 months agoVisiting last night with my parents and dog, we had a lovely meal. The pub is set in the middle of beautiful Trunch village, the staff were friendly and helpful, very polite and welcoming. The food is great value for money and arrived promptly it was fresh and well presented. We enjoyed our meals and we will deffinatly return.

a month agoWasn't really planning to go here but stopped in on the way home mainly as the pie only concept was interesting. We are so glad we did. Really nice village pub which is very well decorated and nicely kept. The staff were very friendly from the moment we walked in helping choose which beers we should try. We ordered 2 pies, 1 duck with cheese and garlic mash and 1 root vegetable and they were really excellent. So good in fact we joined the pie club and will be back. Possibly sooner than later. Made an already good day great

6 months agoA worthy sidetrip from any North Norfolk visit. Great little pub with top notch homemade sausage rolls, sunny outdoor seating. .

6 months agoBooked in for lunch as it less busy and we had three dogs! We were offered a room to ourselves, very nice. Ordered steak and ale plus chicken and mushroom, both in rough puff pastry. Very nice quality pie and mash (you get a choice of mash) and a ton of peas! Slightly limited on some menu items due to a busy previous week. Shared a lovely chocolate brownie as I was stuffed! Good, friendly staff and locals.

3 months agoThe food, drink and customer service are far better than any place I've been to in a built up area. To find somewhere like this in a small village was brilliant! Would recommend to anyone staying nearby or passing through.
