6 months agoLocated in the grounds of Blickling Hall we visited the Buckinghamshire Arms for Sunday lunch. The roast beef and roast chicken dishes were generous in portion and good value for money. The beef in particular, slow cooked overnight, was thickly cut and thoroughly enjoyed. We sat outside in good weather after a walk in the extensive parkland surrounding the hall and the whole experience was very enjoyable. The Buckinghamshire Arms is also dog friendly. Recommended if you are visiting the area.

3 months agoPopped in on the off chance of a table for Sunday lunch. Given a 2 hrs window which was more than enough for a very nice meal. 1x beef and 1x pork, masses of meat and good selection of veg. Never had a bad meal here! Even better in the summer if you are up this part of the world.

7 months agoCouldn't have been much better! The service was great and the staff are really knowledgeable for anyone with food allergies or intolerances. We sat outside under closer to the pub, if I had one criticism it would be to sort out the lights to stay on constantly instead of fading on and off we couldn't read the dessert menu's! But everything was brilliant and for your money I think you get seriously big portions. Highly recommend 👌

2 months agoStayed here while visiting Blickling House, which was just across the road. What a great time we had, the room was fantastic every thing we needed, warm & comfortable. Dinner amazing as was the breakfast. Sat in the snug bar for an evening drink with a few locals had a right laugh. Staff were all helpful and really friendly. Couldn't of asked for more, had a great time.

3 months agoThe Bucks Arms seemed the obvious choice when visiting Blickling for a long walk. It turns out however, it really is the star of the show. Fantastic food, from polite attentive staff. If you sit in the lounge bar, it’s particularly cosy, whilst the dining room could do with a few soft furnishings adding. Feel free to choose from anywhere on the menu, it all tastes great. Only down side was the manager walking through our dining room on the telephone several times. Otherwise would thoroughly recommend!
