The Bucks Arms is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching inn located next to the Blickling Estate. Serving many real ales and great food, we are the perfect stop off when visiting the area.
Excellent Food – With our team of chefs running the kitchen, you can expect delicious home-cooked food beautifully presented and packed with flavour.
Quality Drinks – We are proud to be a Cask Marque recognised pub and have a great selection of real ales including at least 2 seasonal guest beers.
Wines are served by the glass or the bottle from an exciting and changing wine list. For coffee and tea lovers, we offer freshly brewed speciality blends.
We are a dog-friendly pub and welcome well-behaved dogs on leads in the garden, bar and one area of the restaurant. Dogs are also welcome in some of our guest bedrooms.
Please mention when booking if you are bringing a dog so that an appropriate table or room may be allocated.
If dining with your dog we ask that owners be sensitive to other guests. If a dog needs food or water please take them outside where water bowls are provided.
Booking (indoor tables) is strongly advised to avoid disappointment. Tables in the garden are available on a walk-in basis.
Pub open every day from 10.30am. Food served Sun-Thurs 12pm-8pm, Fri & Sat 12pm-8.30pm.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

a month agoStopped for a meal here after a day out. I found my crispy chilli beef noodles to be excellent. Good size portion. Presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Service was effective, friendly, and respectful. I was part of a group with kids and a dog. Plenty of parking

3 months agoWe went for Saturday afternoon meal with two dogs. Recommend booking in advance as the place is justifiably busy. Staff are super friendly, food is incredible and the atmosphere is great. This was my second visit and I look forward to my third. My only issue (and I am only joking) is my wife and mother in law talked about some ribs at this pub, and on their next visit they'd been removed off the menu. Bring back the ribs if you can?

5 months agoMyself and my partner stopped here for Sunday lunch and I have to say it it was absolutely fantastic, the service the food couldn't have been any better, I only wish we had more time to explore the surroundings or had time for a quiet drink in the bar, we will definitely be returning and next time we'll spend more time there. The food was definitely was five star.

3 months agoAbsolute gem. We visited for an evening meal and will definitely be back. The service was excellent and we would highly recommend the steak and duck dishes.

3 months agoJust a couple of suggestions The place was cold inside. Sat on cold hard chairs too. Asked for a blanket as they have them for outside - didnt get one. Ate meal with coat on! . Perhaps rads need to be on a tiny bit to take chill off. Or put on website you need a jumper. Noticed staff wore warm tops. No alcoholic drink - staff replied don’t have anything like that - perhaps get some ? The ‘crispy’ pork was stodgy and all the coating fell off due to about a half a litre of over salty sugary sauce poured all over it - perhaps put this in a separate jug. It totally ruined the whole thing. Let people sit down before asking for drinks. I don’t have a list of your wines in my head. Felt rushed and uncomfortable. Disappointed.
