Head Chef Hervé Stouvenel creates meat led, fresh and seasonal dishes, full of fantastic flavours, combining classic English cuisine with global influences.
Dog Friendly bookings: When booking to dine, you may choose to reserve a dog friendly table (our Snug and Bar are both dog friendly). The pub has two large inglenook fires for you and your four-legged friend to relax by in the colder months and a large beer garden with plenty of space when the weather gets warmer.
Regardless of if you are planning a restful few days’ away, a business trip, or celebrating a special event, the pub offers a warm welcome and is a great setting to unwind or catch up with friends.
Nestled between the North Norfolk coast and the City of Norwich, The Brisley Bell is the perfect base to discover and explore all that Norfolk has to offer. There are lovely walks directly from the pub and eight golf courses within fifteen miles.

Stay at the Bell
The six individually designed en-suite rooms (two of which are dog-friendly and one fully accessible) are nestled in two acres of garden and offer a calming escape from everyday life. Designed with a focus on quality, comfort and relaxation each bedroom comes with homemade shortbread and sloe gin, a Roberts radio and complimentary eco-friendly toiletries. Both dog friendly rooms come with a dog bowl, towel and a complimentary bag of treats.
These award-winning rooms are converted (ground floor) barns that lead directly into the garden.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

in the last weekStayed for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer! Room was amazing with everything you need, food was delicious and our very generous continental breakfast was lovely and fresh (we opted for continental as we couldn't face the cooked breakfast available due to still feeling stuffed from our meal the night before) We spent some time talking with the owner who was very friendly, with nothing seeming too much trouble for her! we will definitely be back in the future.

a month agoDelicious food, stunning decor and a beautiful location ensure that this is one of the best pubs that we have ever eaten at. The menu was extensive, the portions were substantial and each course was beautifully presented. We will definitely be visiting The Brisley Bell whenever we visit North Norfolk in the future.

a month agoOne night stay, but in hindsight would have made it two, as is a real find. The decor is superb, in a traditional warm and welcoming way, with excellent staff who made us feel very welcome. Obviously very popular, as was busy but not packed. Gorgeous open fires. Our room extremely comfortable, with everything you could need. We both loved the style. Breakfast was in keeping with the quality of the venue. Suffice to say, we will definitely be coming back.

3 weeks agoWe had a wonderful stay here. Room was lovely with lots of local touches. Booking and check in was smooth. The pub food is delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway and base to explore the area.

a month agoAmazing Sunday roast lunch. Great choice, outstanding quality and friendly warm service from all the staff. The wine list is decent and it’s by far our favourite place to eat.
