The Ber Street Kitchen is an Independent bespoke café offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, freshly made cakes & desserts, Sunday roasts, Afternoon Teas and barista coffee, all made and served with lots of love and a big smile. Our menus are made up of locally sourced seasonal produce , we also like to encourage using as much sustainable produce in our recipes as possible.
The Café offers a comfortable 30 seated dining as well as a beautiful quiet outdoor courtyard open over the summer months to come and relax, indulge and enjoy our delicious food and beverages. Please note that although the café is wheelchair accessible, our only toilet is located up one step.
There are numerous on street pay and display parking on both sides of Ber Street that you can use, with the nearest multiple story car park located at John Lewis which is only a 5 min walk away.
Booking in advance is recommended.

4 weeks agoDelicious! The quality of food, coffe and cake are so good. It's been recommend by a friend. Well, really impressed. A nice cosy breakfast coffe shop. We haven't booked, but we we're welcomed anyway two of us. Was our first ever visit, definitely we'll be back. Thank you.

5 months agoA great cafe that was open pre 9am on a Saturday - always a bonus. The food was really lovely, and there was a very good selection, with gluten free options, which is always nice. The coffee was excellent too and the cakes were really lovely too. They're dog friendly too, so for us on our brief dog centred trip to Norwich, we couldn't ask for anything more.

a week agoFirst time visit for breakfast and booked well in advance. Our table wasn’t ready on arrival and needed cleaning also lukewarm staff communication as we stood around. Early observation clearly very popular and busy but noticed takeaway service given priority over waiting customers until backlog cleared. Eventually we sat down but and again waited an age for menus and service But no complaints from this point on the food was delicious, presentation superb and felt attended to after the rush. A mixed dining experience but well worth it in the end.

a year agoAbsolutely stunning food! Highly recommend the smoked haddock smash. all cooked to perfection!! I struggled to Finnish it! (But I did!) it was a lot bigger meal than I expected. And the price was very good! The staff here were very busy but still very helpful and nice, would definitely recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Good range of breakfast food lunch and beautiful huge cakes!
