Slow service Overly salted food (we asked for salt on the table but didn’t use it) Undercooked vegetables The room looked tatty and boring (what’s with the old dirty wood screwed to the walls?! At least make it look finished and hide the screws) Unnecessary large amount of bread for my starters and only 3 pieces of scallop for my family member. And since when is broccoli “Mediterranean”?

As the saying goes, "Expect the unexpected!" Well, we were totally blown away by the quality of food on offer here. The surroundings dont do the place justice. Staff were friendly, but service was difficult to judge as we were the only table. The food was really well presented and delicious. It's probably the best steak I've had in a while. We'll be back!

We came for Mother's Day and were so impressed. Can't believe we've never visited before. The food was 10/10. Very tasty, and good portion size. However the service is what really made it, every single member of staff was happy, polite and attentive. We will definitely be back!

My son and I had a fabulous Sunday lunch here. I had the roast beef, which was cooked perfectly, with a huge Yorkshire Pudding. He had roast chicken and declared it delicious. Both came with ample gravy and a big bowl of vegetables served separately. The cauliflower cheese was the best I had ever tasted. The staff were friendly and cheerful and gave us a lovely greeting on arrival. Excellent service. No room for desserts. I just wish I lived nearer as this place deserves a second visit.

What a find. Super friendly with an awesome menu of locally sourced food. I had the best steak I've eaten in years 😋 my partner had the fish which was cooked to perfection. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back.
