2 weeks agoI stayed here on a business trip. The owner was excellent and gave excellent service. The room was great, comfortable and clean. If you like a bath, well your in heaven, widest bath I've ever seen. Food, knock out. You get great value for your money and the bar is warm and welcoming. I would have loved to try the breakfast but alas I had to leave early. On my next trip around that area I'll be staying in the Kings Head. Keep up the good work M. Hope that 7 month old sprog doesn't keep you up all night. Look forward to seeing you soon

3 months agoWe had a great group meal (6 adults, 5 kids) at the Kings Head Inn, we were desperate to get some food after 11 of us spending all day in the rain and camping at nearby clippesby. They were really welcoming, the waitress really kind to the kids, and the food was such high quality, we were really impressed. It was the best meal I’ve had in Norfolk. Do go, it was quiet for a Saturday evening but absolutely shouldn’t be!

3 months agoPopped in for a meal with the family. Huge kids portions, which scored very highly with the kids. Steak Frites was again a huge portion, but amazing. Lovely and tender, well worth it. Also ordered the fish and chips, again a huge portion which was thoroughly enjoyed. If we're ever visiting the area again, would certainly consider stopping off again for a meal.

a month agoThe restaurant was lovely. The waitress was good & helpful. We had the Roast Beef. The standard of the meal was mixed. The beef was tender but over cooked. We arrived at the beginning of service so it should have been cooked better. Give customers a steak knife with roast beef, lamb etc. The roast potatoes were hardly roasted. Why restaurants don’t do what I do & plunge them into a deep fat fryer just prior to serving I don’t know. So easy. The parsnips were just okay, not great. The rest of the items were good. I liked the crispness of the cauliflower which was accompanied with lots of tasty cheese sauce. My main gripe would be, the food was luke warm when it arrived. No excuse. Only one other table had eating guests. The creamy, crunchy dessert which was served in a long glass was delicious as was the Lemon Posset.
