Stunning little place, remote l and isolated, lovely to get away from the A roads. A very welcome change from the dreaded premier in that are frequently booked by my superiors. Super friendly staff to welcome you on arrival. I was booked a single room and it was tiny, a real hobbit house, but lovely fixtures, fittings and furnishings. Modern yet traditional and exceptionally clean! Breakfast was lovely. Eggs cooked to perfection and lovely local sausage. 10/10. I would certainly recommend to anyone and visit again. Thanks for the pleasant experience.

Stayed at The Kings Head for a wedding over the weekend and was extremely happy with our room, Keppel. The location of the hotel is stunning and quaint and the service was absolutely impeccable. We had breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and I cannot fault it in the slightest. I can’t fault anything about our stay in fact it was perfect and we will definitely return.

We booked the restaurant for a family members significant birthday celebration and were not let down. We had a room to ourselves, the food was absolutely top notch. I had the Fish n Chips followed by a Baked Alaska, truly delicious on both counts. The service was perfik too, the staff ensured our visit was one to remember, polite and efficient to a T.

An all time favourite, good beer, good food, good location, great staff. Lovely to sit outside on a summer evening too and watch the world go by. We have been visiting for nearly 50 years now 😊 never disappointed.

So we went paddle boarding and we were absolutely starving so we walked in and a member of staff was ever so rude and kicked us out saying we would have to put a shirt on to come in (in the rudest way possible) but us as humans we have rights to wear whatever we want but she ever so rudely kicked us out but what would you expect the pub is right next to a river??!!! So horrible.
