Absolutely stunning food and staff , we live local and go very regularly most weekends Friday -Sunday The food is perfectly cooked, it’s a fantastic place to relax wine and dine family and friends. It’s by far our favourite restaurant in Norwich and the staff are always friendly, attentive, helpful and a very professional service. Never forget what we like and make us feel at home thank you again for a splendid meal 12/10 x

The food was excellent. Really friendly staff who served us. I had the Ham Hock Terrine to start, which was filling in itself. Then the Pan Fried Chicken Supreme. It was amazing. It came with a mushroom sauce, and I am not a fan of mushrooms at all, but took a chance and so pleased I did. So sooo delicious. All on the 48.5 menu meaning all ingredients are from within 48.5 miles of the pub, which was a really nice bonus for such lovely food. Finished with a chocolate dessert with a honeycomb which I managed to launch across the room. The waitress noticed and made a joke which just added to the enjoyment of the evening. Will definitely visit again

We booked late for a Friday evening but they managed to arrange a set of tables for us at short notice. They also offered us outdoor dining but in the middle of November we went for the inside option 😀 A good selection of beers and lagers and a varied menu. Staff very helpful and attentive even amongst the busyness of the place on a Friday night. Prices on the higher side but would certainly recommend.

Went for lunch with my running/walking group - we had booked, recommend booking. We all ordered at the outside bar, very convenient. Dirty chips and pizza or there's sea food platters ++. Must say the food was excellent and everyone really enjoyed. They also have a wide range of beers which is great. Only problem was that my food didn't arrive at the same time as the others in my group - so everyone had finished when I got mine 😭 - however the staff had realised their mistake and gave me a total refund for my meal without me having to ask, that was excellent service and also a cheap lunch. Go there and enjoy 👍❤️

Had dinner here, food was outstanding. Ordered the double patty burger - flavours were exquisite. They're usually pretty booked up so remember to call and reserve a table in advance. Highly recommended spot for food!
