We ate here a couple of times while staying in the village on holiday. They have some vegan options on the menu. The food was pub grub style. I would recommend trying the salad bar as it has a great spread including pickles, nuts, vegan dressings, etc. There is a lot of seating indoors. I think it caters for a large variety of customers with different tastes quite well. The chips have a fish and chips shop style rather than restaurant style. In terms of beer I had a session IPA from a large brewery which was pleasant enough and tried a beer on cask too which wasn't to my taste, more beer options would've be nice.

Been going to this fabulous venue for many years. We love the food, the atmosphere and location. It's dog friendly, if you want to take your furry family friend. Given that it's a 180 mile round trip for us, that tells you how good we think it is 👌👌prices are quite reasonable too. Looking forward to our next visit - try it, you won't be disappointed 👍👍

Been visiting for years. Food and drink is always to a good standard, food has improved a lot recently (it used to taste somewhat frozen and reheated on some occasions, it no longer does). Handy location and a lovely place to pop in before or after a visit to the beach (for either a drink or a meal). Meals are hearty pub food, they won’t be winning any Michelin stars but it’s what you’d expect from a local pub. Staff are always nice and friendly, drinks are reasonably priced, food is possibly on the *slightly* pricier side but as they have a monopoly on food within the village this is expected and not an issue. Spacious car park and plenty of on road parking nearby. Five to ten minute walk from the beach, which is well worth a visit to try and spot some seals and to have some fun with the sand (if you have little ones). Pub and beach are both dog friendly (all areas within the pub) and they keep doggy treats for visitors along with water bowls around the premises. It’s a must visit for a trip to Winterton if for a rest break if nothing else. There is accommodation available but I can’t comment on this as I’ve never used it.

Stopped in for a drink with a colleague when in the area. Love this pub, friendly staff, sensible prices and a great atmosphere. What else to say, we didn't eat so cannot comment, if you have a dog they will be welcome and offered a bowl of water. Highly recommended :-)

Lovely looking pub in a stunning location, however food is over priced for what can only be prepared/prefrozen cheep food but put at expensive prices. Each meal we have had has been flavourless and underwhelming. Very disappointed. We don't mind paying good money for good food and drink however this is not it. Oh and if you're going to bump prices up on your menu board at least rub the old price out first and do it properly instead of turning a 5 into a 6. It's a shame as this place could really make something of itself with decent quality food and drink.
