2 weeks agoWe visited here for the first time today (January 2026). It was a cold day and there didn't appear to be any heating inside the cafe. It was uncomfortably cold to sit and eat. We ordered two hot drinks, a soup and a sandwich the cost was approx €23.00. The food was beautiful, the soup was homemade and very tasty, the bread the sandwich was made from was gorgeous, soft and contained plenty of filling. Parking is right outside. Dogs are allowed inside on a lead. The toilets are outside in a portable type building, these are in need of a refresh. Service was quick and friendly, it wasn't busy today. We would eat here again and would like to try the cafe in the summer months when its warmer as its too cold to sit and eat there in the winter.

10 months agoStumbled upon this cafe whilst out for Mother’s Day. Decided to pop in on a whim and we’re so glad we did. The cafe and barns are stunning. Beautiful and relaxing location, despite being busy and clearly popular. We had the lemon and strawberry cake which had the perfect balance of sweetness. The staff were all friendly and the coffee and cake was superb. We will definitely make more trips out here just to come to this cafe!

a month agoGreat food and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome but the sign says no bedding or blankets please. Can get quite loud with lots of talking people as there are no soft furnishings. Outdoors is lovely in the warmer weather seasons. They now have some outdoor toilets up some steps and I believe an accessible toilet round the corner outside too.

4 weeks agoThe service and food were good, but unfortunately the café was absolutely freezing. We had to keep our coats on the entire time and were still cold, which really took away from the experience. Such a shame, as it meant we didn’t want to stay long. We had coffee and cake and left as quickly as we could. Would only consider visiting again in the summer when it’s warmer.

a month agoWe had a lovely breakfast 4 days before Christmas day but unfortunately it was so cold in the building it made it us rush our food. Please sort out some heating otherwise I know we won't be the only couples not returning. It needs to feel a warm and cosy when eating in the middle of winter.
