At Dunes cafe (Waxham Barn) we invite our furry friends inside and out! Outside we also provide dog parking (fixed lead hooks) inside we ask for no dog beds, blankets or anything to be laid down for your dog (sorry health and safety precaution) dog water bowls and water are provided and we sell homemade dog treats ‘pooches’ in a number of flavours along with vanilla dog ice cream, you can also order your dog a sausage at our counter!
We have free parking for all customers and we are only a 5 minute walk to the beach.
Gluten free, vegetarian and alternative milk options are available.
- Breakfast is served 9-11.30 am
- Sandwich and baguettes 9-3
- Lunchtime specials menu 11.30-3
- Serving hot and cold drinks, alcohol, cakes and sausage rolls until close
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

food and drink options are great – even little bottles of wine!
highly recommend the mackerel pate on toast and the crab salads. the cakes are difficult to avoid too!
I have one slight moan – I wish they’d offer real butter instead of margarine

in the last weekGreat location, good food, can be busy but service is fairly quick for the turnover of customers. Pretty venue with plenty of parking and toilet facilities.

in the last weekVery nice stop. Good food and service. Some menus out on the tables would be a nice touch. Menu board behind the till is difficult to see as the beam blocks it unless stood 1st in line.
