Purposely wanted to try this cafe after seeing photos and reviews online. We were not disappointed at all. Cafe is set in a lovely location next to a large, beautiful listed barn used for weddings and other functions. Large indoor eating area with big choice of cakes and pastries on display. Lots to choose from on the menu from breakfasts, fresh sandwiches, pies, etc. All looks very fresh and definitely homemade. The staff were really nice and polite, cakes are huge! Well worth a visit after a walk along the nearby beaches. Enjoyed the location, service and food so much we went back next day for fresh crab sandwiches😚 Glad we did, best crab sarnies ever, thick sliced bread with side salad, gorgeous. Thank you Dunes, just gutted we live to far away for regular visits😔

Fabulous find near the Norfolk coast. The cafe was completely overrun with patrons but the staff was fantastic at being friendly and as prompt as possible. The food was fresh and tasty. We had take-away and ate in the car. The take-away created a lot of packaging waste but it is all recyclable. I would have appreciated a hostess directing you to o a table as you can’t stand in line to order and save your table. Folks were grabbing tables with a frenzy. I had no option to get one as a solo traveler. Maybe ordering from the table with a table #? A heater at the outside tables would be really nice but I realize this adds expense. For the volume of people that descended on this cafe on this brisk, sunny, New Years Day, the staff was amazing. Highly recommend.

We stopped here after walking along to Horsey to see the seals as it was a convenient place for lunch. On looking at the menu, I thought the prices were high but once I saw the size of the portions I changed my mind! There was a wait for the food to arrive but it was all fresh and very tasty. My son particularly enjoyed his crab sandwich. We bought cakes to eat at home and they were thoroughly enjoyed.

Great lunch stop. It's unfair to call it just a cafe as it's also good. Any cake you choose will be amazing. I came with a family of 4, nothing was too much trouble (despite the obvious stress the staff were under) and we had a different cake each. Beautiful. The lucky options too looked amazing If you're in the area visit.

We went for tea after visiting Horsey Gap (mid Dec). Ample parking area, very visible from the road. Cafe was cosy and has many seats facing the space outside. Food (scones, tarts) were pretty good, huge coffee at a very good price. Very nice vibes. Would drop by again if I am in the area.
