2 months agoFabulous loose leaf tea. Food menu is great, had a delicious toastie followed by fresh baked slice of cake. Highly recommend this gem of a place, with a great atmosphere and lovely staff.

3 weeks agoWe were just looking for a drink but our visit here was so much more. It felt like a really special experience in a lovely place. It is in a historic building and the inside is wonderful. Service very friendly helpful and efficient. Drinks and cake lovely, served in beautiful china and with lovely ‘antique’ cutlery and accessories. Very good value . We will definitely return

a week agoAbsolutely awful service. My wife was on crutches and after struggling up two flights of stairs we were told there were no tables. There was no service with a smile, no offer to wait for a table. Instead we were left to struggle back down the stairs to the waterfront. The venue looks nice and I daresay we would have enjoyed it had there been seats available. It's somewhat disappointing that I have had to give a review like this but it reflects how we were greeted, and something had to be said.

3 months agoWe were visiting Kings lynn as a stop off on our way home. We went to the museums and then we needed a cuppa and a snack before we set off home. Found this slightly hidden from view as you walked by the river. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Menu not extensive but there's something on to suit all tastes. We chose cheese scone with chili jam, wow ,very tasty. Leaf tea in silver teapots and China cups!Staff are amazing, very very friendly and helpful. Would recommend calling in, you won't be disappointed.

a year agoThe restaurant was quiet the day we went because the weather was appalling. The ladies were really welcoming and really didn’t rush us. We had a delay in a member of our party arriving and they were really patient. The food was delicious. It was more pricier than other places I have been to for afternoon tea but as it was for a belated 50th birthday treat we splurged that little bit more.
