a month agoA small but lovely cafe very close to the beach. The food was excellent but where they really outdid themselves was the service. As a family we all had a great experience. From the moment we walked in (with two small children) we were made to feel very welcome. I can't recommend the bistro here highly enough. I kind of think it's like visiting your grandma except she is actually an entire family of people, has a commercial kitchen setup and gives you a menu to choose from. It's clearly a family affair and I suspect we saw three generations of the family while we were there. To bring this rambling review back on track... It was excellent, food, service, a fantastic range of drinks and ice cream. I would certainly go back. A great place to go l visit with children or without children.

a month agoSimply amazing little place with wonderful service and lovely fresh, homemade food. We had local crab salad, followed by local ice cream, and our little boy had a proper hot dog. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We were at our favourite place for our wedding weekend and recommended the cafe to our family and friends. These people work so hard and deserve all the good reviews they get.

2 months agoManaged to pop in today and so glad we stopped! Very dog friendly (even getting a sausage!). Food was fabulous, fresh and tasty. Only issue is that not everything is advertised or priced on the menu so a bit of guessing on what was available, then not knowing how much the dishes cost until the final bill. Great range of drinks (hot and cold), licensed so you can have alcohol if you want it. Worth stopping by :-)

3 months agoMy sister and I came by the fabulous Beach Rock Bistro by chance! What a find. We did a walk first along the glorious dog friendly beach, then headed to the Bistro for a freshly caught crab and salad, absolutely delicious! The staff were super friendly and owners went above and beyond in accommodating my sister with her GF diet. The deserts were also sublime. Sat outside whilst the sun was just going down. Pretty much a perfect evening. Thank you for making our last nights holiday one to remember. Sarah

a year agoWe had a brunch on busy Saturday morning in April, start of the season. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a small breakfast cooked to order that tasted lovely. Great value for money. Have a professional coffee steamer setup that does good latte, cappuccino etc Quite limited seating inside. One x2, and two x4 tables. Plenty of outside tables also. Worth noting that car park is £1.50 for an hour.
