Restrictions apply 1st May to 30th September – Like many beaches in Norfolk, no dogs are allowed on the main strip of beach opposite the promenade. You will need to head north or south of the main beach away from the crowds but look out for the appropriate signage. On the promenade dogs must be kept on a lead.
Outside of the summer season months, there are no restrictions for what part of the beach dogs can walk on.

a month agoDuring winter the beach isn't busy, so parking cross the road isn't packed. I am assuming over the summer it's much harder to park there. At the beach is Lucy's cafe which is off during the winter, however, cross the road place to get some food. ❗ If you couldn't, few miles down Walcott, there is some more fishy spots. Enjoy!

a month agoNice and quiet but can be windy and chilly on a winters afternoon. Parking is limited though. Almost always a good walk. The beach itself seems to change, often drastically, from tide to tide.

in the last weekNice beach. Like to walk the dog here. Great sunsets in the evening though not over the sea behind over the fields

6 months agoExcellent beach, very nice in the morning for a long scroll, totally beautiful and peaceful, wasn’t a soul on the beach the whole day we were there. Had a few alarms from the gas works🫣but could live with that, would stay there again for a long weekend,

9 months agoExtensive, sandy beach with walks around the edge. Some parts are dog friendly which are indicated at various intervals. Was very windy and refreshing. Didn't see much in the way of facilities around the beach area but I may not have gone far enough. Surrounded by holiday parks. People were very friendly.
