Customers are welcome to bring their dogs into the bars where a bowl of water is always offered. Please keep them safely on leads.
We sell a wide choice of lager, cider & local ales along with good old fashioned pub grub, homemade pies, chilli and lasagne etc. We have a courtyard and secluded secret garden in the height of summer as we have grape vines and apple trees growing around it.
We’re next door to the Alby Arts and Crafts Center which offers great local made gifts and beautiful gardens which makes for a great trip.
All diets catered for on request.
As per all listings on Dog Friendly Norfolk, we accept well behaved dogs.

3 months agoMy family booked here while on holiday in Cromer and it was a very pleasant surprise. It’s a very traditional pub but the Sunday Lunch was one of the best. Great honest cooking. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

4 months agoExcellent meal. Friendly hosts. Very good value for money. Recommend the cheese or meat ploughman’s. We had both. Finish off with a Belgium waffle. Yummy! Excellent drinks and beer is kept in excellent condition. Car park, darts board… this pub has it all and the price is very right.

4 months agoWe had dinner here as a large family get together. The staff were fantastic very welcoming and really helpful in organising the meal. The food was very tasty and the service was spot on. We pre-ordered so the kids food was very quick to come out which was great. It's very dog and child friendly and there is a nice secure beer garden out the back We would highly recommend and definitely return Thank you!

4 months agoWe had an amazing home-cooked Sunday lunch on 28th July with a good choice of meats & lots of different veggies. The hosts were both friendly & amenable & can make a mean jug of Pimms. We thoroughly recommend stopping by.

3 months agoHad Sunday lunch today. Greated by Steve very friendly. Beef was delicious lovely roast dinner and Eton mess delicious. Donna was friendly. Lovely cosy pub. Thank you.
