A nice little pub. We went for food. The owners were away so they had a limited menu, but we enjoyed what we had. Staff were friendly. We would certainly go back to sample their full menu when they have it back on.

Delicious and well cooked food. Welcoming and friendly hosts. A real gem. I had a sublime Mongolian beef with noodles and my wife’s vegetable curry was very tasty. Would have dived in to the puds but too full.

Great pub with rooms. Hosts Steve and Donna couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous Sunday lunch which was very welcome after a long day's walking. Friendly locals in the bar made us welcome too, highly recommend.

.Great food and such lovely friendly staff. Walked our little dog at Alby Gardens next door then popped in for dinner. They gave us and the dog a very warm welcome! The food is all homemade too. The steak pie was really good and hubby said the lasagne was delicious. Log fire was nice; all in all a fab pub!

Best food we have had in years of travel and nice prices. Recommend the hunters chicken very wholesome and tasty and the ploughman's to die for.
