Delicious food, friendly atmosphere, great play list (80s)! Dog friendly and sheltered seating for those willing to brave the autumnal July weather! Cocktails and local beer on tap. Free mooring during the day or 24hrs just over the bridge. Would definitely come back again.

The staff were amazing - fitting our group of 11 in at late notice despite it being a busy night (Monday)! Cheerful & attentive. They made an amazing response to our request to light candles on our home made brownie cake. Food was excellent & choices flexible. Could be more gluten free options & substitutions. Large car park & free mooring for patrons. We will definitely be back.

Been here many time during our boating holidays over the years and the food gets even better! Lots of great choice, difficult to choose! Pub is on the rivers edge, lovely setting, gets very busy. Lovely smiley staff who are very attentive. Great range of beer and ales too. Large Indoor/outdoor eating areas, kids play area, outside pods for smoker's or for rainy days. Plenty of car parking bays, a few mooring spaces. Mooring outside pub is £10 after 5pm. Pay inside the pub and you're given a ticket to put in your window. If the moorings are full you can moor by the cafe (for free) and walk over the bridge to the pub. Lovely place, very welcoming

Trip up the river ... it would be rude not to have a quick bite to eat. Loads of side on mooring. Just be aware of the current. There are plenty of inside and outside tables. Some nice pods with wind breaks to comfy. Food was great. A good choice of drinks. Dogs are always welcome, and the staff will pop a bowl of water down to keep your four legged friend happy.

We moored right next to the path that takes you straight to the door! We both had Steak pie, the portion was great and the pie was delicious. The Summer Pudding was beautiful, so light and full of flavour, Hubs loved the warm Bakewell Tart! Definitely be coming back next time we are boating!
