2 months agoWe stayed here for a wedding recently. The rooms are quite expensive, but were clean and comfortable. Beware, it is a long way up if you are on the top floor, especially with heavy cases. The staff were smashing. Breakfast was great. We also had an evening meal which was lovely. Great range of beers available.

4 months agoA truly delightful place to have Sunday evening luncheon. A beautiful space with stunning views across the reed beds. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Excellent attention to detail and very attentive staff. Food is outstanding and the flavours are deliciously combined. A must to visit or stay. There is an outside beer garden across the road and small carpark at the rear. Booking a table is advised during busy times.

3 months agoWe recently got married in Cley and required a number of additional rooms for our wedding guests. We were in communication back and forth with Freya and team for a number of months regarding the group booking and they were absolutely fantastic. They were very accommodating with back and forth amendments and extremely quick with responses. This great communication and support alleviated what could have been a stressful situation. We have eaten here a number of times before and as part of this stay booked a table of 13 for dinner. The service and food was again fantastic with everyone very happy with a variety of dishes ordered. Breakfast was also great with a preorder of usual hot breakfast items and the coffee was really tasty! Definitely recommend visiting the George and Dragon even if its for a drink! The setting and overall experience is fantastic and ran by a friendly team.

3 months agoA really lovely pub with a fine selection of beers and excellent food. I often call in for a quick bite and pint when walking the coast path, which runs right past it. I must stay longer next time! Fish and chips recommended for hungry walkers!

2 months agoFood was really good, both starters and both mains were really tasty. Staff were very pleasant and the prices reasonable. However hot food needs to be served on hot plates not luke warm ones. Surely it's not difficult to do. Kitchen staff need to up their game a little.
