3 months agoLovely traditional pub with lots of character. Great to visit an establishment that’s not gone for the modern monochrome but instead kept its traditional charm. Great food with excellent service. We stayed overnight and for the same price as a premium inn, it was significantly better.

2 months agoThis a nice pub. We stayed in the family room the room was good and we can say its rather spacious. Evening and breakfast Food was really good and customer service too. Nice garden at the back. Please of seating areas Please note the village doesn't have stree light at night. Room was closest to the road which is quite noise. A149 To improve: Toilet seat needs adjustment on room no.1 ASAP Carpet seem clean but there was quiet a bit stains. Although was clean- there was still several cobwebs and little things that could be improved. We would happily stay there again . Overall was a very good experience

6 months agoReally unassuming but absolutely cracking pub for dinner. We were seated in the bar as we had our little dog with us, but honestly we were pleasantly surprised. Staying in dilham and thought we'd give this one a try, from the outside and the initial impression one of our party was unsure but I'm glad we convinced to stay. Food was amazing, all fresh and the cheesecakes were gorgeous. Local beers on tap and friendly staff. Would recommend stopping by this place.

5 months agoPopped in for lunch. Bar staff friendly but food very poor. Only half the menu available which gave little choice. Fish pie was tasty but far too much sauce and very little fish. Fish and chips was awful. Batter so overcooked it needed chipping away from the Fish which was small and dry. Chips were ready and soggy. Pub itself in need of a deep clean.
